Statistics (Matomo Web Analytics):

This site uses Matomo, a GDPR compliant alternative to Google Analytics, when measuring traffic on our site and to help us improve your user experience. We have migrated data from Google Analytics and now use only Matomo.

Your IP address and data collected by the use of cookies are being processed.

This tracked data is processed only by us and our web analytics platform, Matomo. All data in Matomo Cloud is hosted in Europe. We collect traffic information in order to tailor DTU Findit to user needs. For example, we obtain information about the number of visits, the average duration of the visit, the number of new visitors and the number of returning visitors, which browsers are used, device type, demographic information etc.

We use Matomo to store this statistical information.

The following cookies are used:

  • _pk_id: Used to store a few details about the user, in order to be able to perform various web analytics tasks, among them count the number of unique visits. Is stored for 13 months
  • _pk_ses: Short lived cookie used to temporarily store data for the visit. Is stored for 30 minutes"
  • _findit_session_id: Used to keep track of the users login. Is stored for the current session.
  • cookiebanner-accepted: Used to remember if you have dismissed the cookie message. Is stored for 1 year.
  • shunt_hint: Used to remember if you wish to log in as a DTU user. Is stored for the current session.
